At Sozo, we believe that The deliberate use of cold and heat exposure can improve metabolism, cardiovascular and brain health, balance hormones, and decrease inflammation. Certain protocols can improve glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity and trigger release of neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine which enhance energy, mood, and focus.

We book in 25 minute or 55 minute time slots which allow the use of one or both modalities. Studies show that 11 minutes of cold exposure per week, divided into short sessions, and 57 minutes of sauna use per week, in 10-15 minute sessions, are sufficient for positive changes like reduced blood sugar and improved cardiovascular health.
